A: The RED CFast card has special firmware that is customized for the RED DSMC3 camera bodies to provide additional reliability when recording. Other than the firmware it is essentially the same CFast as the Anglebird AV Pro. In fact, if you look at the back of the card you will see that RED partnered with Angelbird to develop the CFast card (you can find more info on that here https://bit.ly/3mYojjn). If you plan to use CFast card for one of the RED DSMC3 camera bodies then the RED branded card offers slightly more reliability than the others cards. If you plan to use the card with other cameras then there is no benefit to choosing the RED branded card.

A: I personally would not recommend it for a 5lbs setup. We use an sbracket with a speed light and a 28in softbox or speed light with MAGMOD for on location work. I would say a 2-3lbs setup would be the most I would trust. Unless youre laying some sandbags to keep it weighted down. Without weighing it down it tends to tip over with our softbox. They do make a larger model that spreads wider at the base for more stability and heavier gear. Overall though I highly recommend these for light run and gun setups.
