However, when the power dies, it defaults to the mic being on, so you don't lose your mic in mid-set if the battery dies. If you're using a powered pedalboard or can run from the wall wart, you'll be fine. Switching is quiet, so you don't even notice when you turn the mic on and off. Overall, it's a great pedal and I use it every week.
