A: Yes, because this monitor has an HDMI input and an HDMI output. So, you can go into the monitor directly from the camera, then loop out to your EVF. I have done this with no problem on my shoulder rig. That way if I want to come off the shoulder and go hand-held with the rig, I can use the Lilliput for monitoring. Another cool feature is that you can loop through the Lilliput to your EVF and the EVF will get signal even if the monitor is powered off as long as the monitor is connected to an active power source. I've turned the monitor off to conserve battery and still had signal into the EVF. One thing to be careful of though when running multiple HDMI cables to different sources is the HDMI ground issue. If you power both HDMI peripherals from the same battery source, you can possibly damage the HDMI output of your camera. To avoid damaging the HDMI output, you need to have all of the peripherals plugged in and turned on before you turn on the power to the camera. Hope this helps.
