The value of these stands are great. The stands are fairly well made and exceeded my expectations based on the fact that these were inexpensive. The swivels are up to par in quality and are simply OK in my opinion. I recommend this set to everyone who's working with speedlights and small to medium sized modifiers. The swivel is upside-down in the package so make sure you switch the cold shoe to the opposite end to ensure that you'll be able to angle the shoe along with the umbrella.

I don't like being called a professional photographer, I'd prefer amateur. I use the product (Digital Flash Umbrella Mount Kit) for portraits and stills. The stands are great, I don't ever see myself selling them off. They're sturdy and reliable. I currently use them to mount my Nikon SB-900 and sub out an umbrella with a 24-inch soft box. The stand hold the weight with no problems. The brackets appear to be of high quality, but a close examination of the plastic will lead you to see slight scratches present upon receipt of items. The umbrellas are 32, I had anticipated it being bigger but they feel a bit on the smaller side. The medal of the umbrella is of a less-quality metal, and the brand is pressed unto the black shell (for those who aren't into having brands on your gear this might be of interest to you). I'd actually recommend upgrading the umbrellas to heavier duty ones, nonetheless, they're tolerable. This item does not come with a carrying case. Overall, for the price and quality of the stands and the brackets it's a good deal.

I am a novice who wanted to try portraiture on a small scale. I am more than happy with the value and price of this outfit. The only downside is the cheesy cold shoes provided. But all-in-all money well spent!

From the reviews I read before buying these made my decision to do so and glad I did. They are everything I expected and for the price, you can't go wrong. I've already shot some portraits and very happy with the outcome over just using a flash alone. Amazing job with very little to no shadowing with very even lighting.

Excellent stands!! Excellent umbrellas!!Took it out for use to an outdoor shoot and they were great! Just need a sandbag to weight it down.. Couldn't be happier!!
