There is a slot on the right side that you can slip your index finger to adjust the mode dial and to click the shutter button, as well as on the lens area so you can adjust your lens. But to manually focus the lens, I believe it would be hard unless your finger is long enough to reach through the end of the lens for adjustment . Also, when you place your camera inside, you need to remove your lens then attach your lens through the lens opening of the case. Overall, I only use it to protect my cam in waters.
