Record from and manage up to 8 cameras with the AcuSense DS-7608NXI-K2/8P 8-Channel 12MP NVR with 8TB HDD from Hikvision. This NVR supports IP cameras up to 12MP. It is equipped with two SATA ports that each support an HDD up to 10TB, for a maximum capacity of 20TB (8TB preinstalled). H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 video compressions keep file sizes manageable while maintaining the best quality possible. AcuSense technology provides vehicle and human detection while filtering out false video content analysis alarms.

This NVR supports two-way audio. An HDMI and a VGA port enable video output to an external monitor (available separately) at up to 4K UHD resolution.

Price will always be the most important factor in our purchase decisions. The 2 terabyte WD Black drive is the sweet spot of all the drives as it has an acceptable amount of space (1.8T realistically available) and a great medium price point. But don't forget what else you get with this, faster than average speeds and a FIVE YEAR WARRANTY. Western digital is pretty much saying this drive will not fail you anytime soon. Above all else we need our drives to work and be reliable, and after 5 years we can switch out to new drives for peace of mind. Great price, honestly good speeds, lots of space, very satisfied with my purchase. I use it for gaming and music production (live recording and playback). No issues. It does make normal traditional HD noise as expected. 5

At this price point, you are getting excellent speeds and plenty of storage for modern day media and gaming. 5 year warranty puts this drive above all others in its range, FIVE YEARS. Peace of mind for important game saves or priceless family photos. This drive is very light compared to my other WD black drives (2T, 4T), VERY light. The others feel like a heavy brick in your hand, this does not. I use it for gaming and that's it, no issues, load times are relatively close to my experience with gaming on SSDs drives. We're talking seconds here, so my experience was very pleasant. Its a great drive, don't hesitate. 5
