Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a stretchy pocket for a water bottle on the one side?

A: Yes. You can see it on the side of the bag in this photo: https://bit.ly/3hsJ4zF

Q: 2. What D-tap power cable would be compatable with this?

A: When powering the Teradek Serv Micro, the best D-Tap would be one with an NPF dummy battery, like the GyroVu D-Tap to Sony L-Series Intelligent Dummy Battery (30") (GYGVDTAPSL) will offer the safest form of power.

Q: 3. Will this fit a Nikon 400mm f2.8 VR with first hood attached and D4s body attached. I want to be able to have the setup ready to go as I'm a photojournalist. The HK-33-1 hood is only about 4in long so it should fit? I don't use the second part hood or care about it fitting. Thanks.

A: Yes, it will fit your set up.

Q: 4. Specs says weight is 6.0 lb but package weight is 5.6 lb. Kindly clarify what is the actual empty weight? Thanks!

A: The empty weight of this back is 5.6 lbs.

Q: 5. What is the tested latency?

A: The average latency of the Teradek Serv Micro is 20ms.

Q: 6. Is the bag as good as the Lowepro 600 mm bag? This bag is much cheaper, so I am not sure if it is as well made or not.

A: I'm not familiar with the other bag, so i can't compare. I just got this bag because i bought a 500mm lens and it seems to be a good quality bag.

Q: 7. Would this bag handle an 800mm lens with camera attached (1DX Mk2)?

A: On some level, it would depend on which 800mm lens you have. Though, as long as your lens isnt wider than 7.5 and the total length of the lens with the camera attached isnt longer than 24, you would be able to fit it in the Ruggard Alpine 600 with the 1DX attached.

Q: 8. Is this pack small to take as a carry on in an airliner?

A: In the US the the dimensions defined by the airlines for carry on luggage is: 22 long x 14 wide x 9 tall or 115cm (56 x 36 x 23 cm). The external dimensions of the Lens Trekker 600 AW II are: 28 x 32 x 65.5 cm (11.02 in x 12.60 in x 25.79 in). Therefore, it would not legally fit as as carry on luggage.

Q: 9. Can this bag be folded down to a smaller size, for instance so it will pack into a suitcase?

A: Given all of the padding on it, I wouldn't think so.

Q: 10. With a 600f4 I carry a 1.4x, 2x, and extension tubes. and drop-in filters. Is the pocket large enough to hold these accessories?

A: 100% the Lowepro trekker can accommodate a pro DSLR, 600mm f/4 Lens Attached and as well have some wiggle room for much needed accessories such as your teleconverters.
