A: No. Both lenses and the camera are Super 35mm so there will not be any cropping.

A: The Leica Visoflex (Typ 020) Electronic Viewfinder should work with most any lens. It is just forwarding the information the back lcd panel would see.

A: It would not be possible to shoot in between the set focal lengths of this lens.

Q: 7. How does this quasi-zoom compare with Leica primes of the three same focal lengths?

A: The Leica Tri-Elmar-M 16-18-21mm f/4 ASPH lens compares very nicely with the Leica primes of the same focal length, at f/4 aperture. The Leica 21mm prime is a f/3.4, and the Leica 18mm prime is f/2.8.
