A: My lens is a Nikon mount so I don't know how helpful this will be.At infinity focus, the rear element's barrel back face projects approximately 3.5 mm beyond the rearmost surface of the Nikon mounting flange

A: This lens is pretty much all manual, however, the camera can still read light coming into the sensor so you could still adjust your settings accordingly.
