Q: 2. Does this rig have the option of counter weight attachment and/or need counterweigth?

A: Yes you can use counterweight on it. Search CW-01 at B&H site for further information. Also you can consider using the VBP-01 with Vmount battery in the back which not only work as a counterweight, but also power upoint your camera and accessories continuously through different voltage outputs. Search VBP-01 & VB-150 for this powering solution that is highly recommended

A: Based on the dimensions of the DBDimensions (Body) 3.6H (91mm) x 3.3W (84mm) x 7.8D (199mm) This kit can take it.

Q: 4. Can this rig be mounted on a tripod?

A: It is possible. There are 3 fitting holes for tripod under the plate. We dit use part of the rig on a tripod.

Q: 5. does it work with Samyang 14mm cine lens and nikon D810?...thanks!

A: Yes it will work perfectly with your 14mm prime. Just make sure when you purchase matte box, go for the bigger ones like our MB-02 in the future.

Q: 6. Can I mount my A7s on this?

A: You should have no problem putting an A7S on this rig. It is a universal rig that can work with a variety of DSLR and Mirrorless style cameras.

Q: 7. Does this work with a Panasonic GH4?

A: This Lanparte Starter DSLR Camera Rig Kit works very well with the Panasonic GH4. It is capable of handling all mirrorless cameras like the GH4 plus the physically larger DSLRs as well.
