A: Like most lenses wider than 20mm, the Canon RF 15-30mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens does distort at the wide end of the lens. And depending on the specific shot can be better or worse as distortion goes. But most lenses that wide unless you are square at the subject will distort.

Q: 8. Will this fit a Godox AD200 and if not which Vello will?

A: The Vello Flash Multiplier-Diffuser Attachment should be a nice tight fit for you AD200. with the standard head. The bare bulb head will not fit.

Q: 9. Will this fit my Godox TT600s?

A: This is not compatible. You will need the Stofen omni bounce, item # OMEY.

Q: 10. How does this lens compare to the older Tamron 28-200?

A: This is for APS-C Canon cameras. You can not use on full frame. Compared with that lens, this one should be faster focusing and give you a much wider angle of view. It will also be considerably smaller.

I bought this lens about two weeks ago as a replacement for the standard 18-55mm lens that came with my Rebel XS. I love it! Colors are great, sharpness as well. Works great for landscape & travel photography. I only wish it would come with an included lens hood at this price. 5

I have used the Canon 17-85 for years at weddings and portraits. Always wanted a little more sharpness and better contrast and color. Still it was my favorite lens but this 15-85 is a huge leap forward. I am a sharpness nut and I get it with this lens. Stabilization is better as well. This is a hefty lens but feels good in the hands on my 40D. Do yourself a favor and buy this lens. You will love it. 5

I purchased this lens to go with my new Canon EOS-7D. When the camera is set to a mode other than fully automatic, the lens focuses very accurately. Photos produced are very sharp with very little if any post-processing required. However, as stated in the camera instruction manual, when in fully automatic mode, focusing will favor the more nearby objects. This only means that the camera is correctly doing its job and not a fault of the lens. When using non-automatic modes, the lens does its job, producing very sharp, and correctly focused photos. As others have stated, Canon should provide the lens hood at no additional charge. 5

I love this lens! It's speed and quality are superb! It is a little heavy but I would expect that from quality. My 100-400L weighs three times as much. I shoot semi-pro and it is a very slick lens. 5

I use my EF-S 15-85 as the basic lens on my Canon 50D. Great range--especially the 15mm; and, quality build. The image quality is fantastic--close to L-series glass without the L-series cost. Well worth the investment above the cost of a kit lens! 5

This lens spends the most time on my 70D due to its versatility and overall IQ. I got the 18-135 STM with the 70D but subjectively I think this lens produces better quality. I take this, the 10-22, and 70-200 f/4L IS (and 1.4x TC) in my bag to cover the gamut of focal lengths I'm most interested in but this lens sees the most use by far. 5
