Designed for cine-style image capture and covering up to full-frame size sensors that shoot up to 8K video, the white Canon RF-mount 65mm T1.5 Cine Lens from IRIX incorporates multiple advanced internal and external design features. External features include a 95mm front diameter, 0.8 MOD gears, luminous focus marks in feet, and two locations to attach a 1/4"-20 support foot. Internally, the 11-blade iris produces a smooth, rounded bokeh, and five seals protect against inclement weather and dust.

To help eliminate aberrations and distortion, the IRIX 30mm T1.5 Cine Lens is constructed with an 11-blade iris, a low focus breathing, and a protective nano-coating. This lens has 180° of focus and 75° of iris rotation, an 86mm front filter thread, and it includes front and rear caps.

Q: 1. Hi, what is teeth size of apperture and focus rings?

A: Cine 0.8 pitch.

Q: 2. What's the main difference between this lens and the Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine AS UMC Lens?

A: DS lenses, regardless of focal length, are all the same size so that if you have a set of them, you won't have to adjust your follow focus when you switch out. The Ds lenses also have matching color temperatures, while other lenses may vary a slight bit. The DS lens will be more conveiniet if you own other DS lenses

Q: 3. what's the difference between?Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine DS Lens for Sony E-MountRokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine AS UMC Lens for Sony E Mount

A: The DS in the new version stands for Dual Scale which means there is a smart and dumb side scale for operating the lens from either side of the camera, instead of the top side position that the other versions offered. The focus and iris gear positions have been moved along the axis in order to maintain a consistent position from lens to lens making swapping a very easy when using a follow focus or motors. Additionally, each of the lenses is carefully color matched to a certain degree in order to sustain a specific cinematic look throughout the set. The optics however in each set, remain the same as the non-DS set.

Q: 4. How much cinematic quality does this lens get? Like, Netflix show/film level quality? Or more?

A: This is designed to be an affordable, entry level Cinema Lens. It will provide very nice quality, however Netflix has a list of approved cameras for streaming on their platform. Those cameras on there require high bit rate and low compression options for better results. The lenses people use with those cameras will usually offer higher quality optics to go along with the higher quality video file.

Q: 5. Does it come with a lens hood?

A: A detachable petal shaped lens hood is included.

Q: 6. What is the multiplier when used on the JVC GY-LS300 MFT mount with super 35 Sensor? Is it 1.5x or 2x?

Q: 8. How much does it weight?

A: This lens weighs 24.7 oz.
