The black I2 Instrument Microphone, High Gain, with TA4F Connector for Electrovoice MB2500 and MSB Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a mic that has been engineered from the ground up for natural on- and off-axis frequency response, low-noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls. This tiny instrument microphone can be used to capture audio in sound reinforcement applications for saxophone, violin, viola, cello, double bass, acoustic guitars, piano, brass, and percussion instruments.

The I2 instrument microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version features increased sensitivity for distance miking and capturing detail in quieter instruments. It is supplied with a foam windscreen, a basic clip, and a carrying case. In addition, the 5' cable is permanently attached to the mic and terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to Electrovoice MB2500 and MSB wireless bodypack transmitters.

The I2 maintains excellent pattern control and frequency response at all angles. It offers uncolored recordings and reduced feedback issues.

Flexible close miking techniques can be aided by the various selection of instrument mounts (sold separately), which position securely and gently to strings, brass, and more.

Small size and sonic precision makes this microphone suitable for X-Y, M-S, and other techniques that rely on accurate, coincident positioning, and consistent patterns.

The omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound from all directions equally offering the flattest frequency response, lowest noise level, and is least susceptible to wind noise and vibration. It is recommended for recording and sound reinforcement of acoustic instruments such as percussion, guitar, saxophone, and piano.

Q: 1. I see that it can take from 1-399 shots. If I want to take a time lapse of over 399 shots, will it require me to reset it or will it keep taking pictures?

A: If you want to take more than 399 shots, you would not need to reset the remote. You would simply need to set it to take an unlimited amount of photos. The remote could then continue to trigger the shutter until the camera ran out of batteries.

Q: 2. Will this work with a Canon EOS 80D?

A: No. This is for Canon cameras with a 3 pin jack. The 80D has the Canon sub-mini jack. Here is a link for a ShutterBoss that is compatible with the 80D. http://bhpho.to/29Fvt6C The model is B&H # VERCWIIC1
