The black Neumann KK 105 U is the supercardioid condenser capsule of the famed Neumann KMS105 vocal microphone outfitted with a universal twist-on mechanism that allows you to use it with a wide variety of handheld wireless transmitter mics from Shure, Lectrosonics, and more that support interchangeable capsules. The KK 105 U accurately reproduces vocals with excellent transparency and range, while the supercardioid polar pattern exhibits outstanding rejection of off-axis and rear sound, helping to reduce feedback—especially when sound reinforcement equipment is used.

Note that this version of the capsule is not compatible with Sennheiser handheld transmitters, please use the KK 105 S instead.

The Neumann KK 105 U is the capsule from the acclaimed KSM105 vocal microphone, outfitted for use with wireless handheld transmitters that support a modular capsule design. The capsule is compatible with these systems:

  • Sony
  • Lectrosonics
  • MIPRO ACT
  • Shure (except BLX and GLX-D systems)

With a built-in roll off filter and smooth 80 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, the KK 105 U condenser capsule yields a transparent vocal sound with an airy top-end, providing studio-quality sound for live performances. The supercardioid polar pattern effectively minimizes noise and ambiance at the off-axis sections of the microphone without coloration, helping to focus audio capture tightly on the performer and keep feedback from monitors under control.

The capsule can handle SPLs up to 150 dB with a 0.5% total harmonic distortion and up to 155 dB with 3% THD. The integrated shockmount isolates the mic capsule from handling noise, while the built-in pop protector helps to reduce plosive sounds and vocal pops.

Q: 1. Does it work with the rs3 pro?

A: The RS3 Pro comes with an Arca Swiss Quick release with the Gimbal. It's part of the RS3 Pro's design. A: Yes it does. The Lumix S1 is on Moza's compatible chart for this gimbal. https://bhpho.to/2m0lZM6

Q: 3. What cable will connect this to Nikon D810? Aircross 2 manual says to "half plug" the mini USB into the camera's micro USB 3.0, but it does not recognize connection.

A: The D810 is not on the compatibility list for this gimbal.

Q: 4. Can it hold an 80d with 24-105L lens?

A: The combination of Canon 80D and 24-105mm will be below the 7 pound load capacity of this gimbal. You should be able to balance that camera with a 24-105mm lens on this gimbal.

Q: 5. Does it have compatibility with Olympus EM5 Mark II (MFT)? If not then what features will I miss out on if I still buy it?

A: The AirCross 2 is designed to balance and shoot a Mirrorless Camera up to 7 pounds. It will be able to handle an Olympus EM5 II very well. However, the gimbal will not be able to control the camera itself. At this time we are not aware of any gimbal like this that offers control over Olympus Mirrorless cameras.

Q: 6. A question for users of the Aircross 2. Does the 360 roll function require an additional piece? is the roll clockwise? does it roll counter-clockwise? can it roll clockwise 180 and reverse roll 180? can it roll at different speeds or only one speed? I have a specific shot in which the inside of a boat rolls back and forth. Many thanks.

A: The 360-roll (known as Inception mode on Moza devices) does not require an additional piece with the Aircross 2. You can choose the speed of the roll by rotating the dial below the joystick, and the direction of the roll (clockwise or counter-clockwise) using the joystick itself.

Q: 7. which is the correct cable to connect the canon 70d?

A: A usb mini connector such, which is included with the Moza Aircross 2, should work with a Canon 70d.

Q: 8. Can I use for my EOS R and 28-70 f2 lens?

A: Yes, the Moza AirCross 2 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer can support up to 7 pounds effectively.

Q: 9. Will it work with a Nikon d7500?

A: These products are compatible: This gimbal is for Mirrorless/DSLR Cameras up to 7 lbs. Nikon D7500: Weight: 1.41 lb / 640 g (Body Only)

Q: 10. What are the differences between the Moza Aircross 2 and the Moza Air 2 apart from the weight?

A: Load capacity is one of the key differences between the Moza AirCross 2 and Moza Air 2. The Air 2 has a load capacity of 9.25 pounds, while the AirCross 2 has a capacity up to 7 pounds. The battery life is a bit higher on the Air 2 at 16 hours compared to 12 hours on the AirCross 2. Also the Air 2 has additional threadings for accessories than the AirCross 2.
