Successor to the M21 model used by the Israel Defense Forces and other military and law-enforcement agencies, the Mepro22 Triangle Red Self-Illuminated Reflex Sight from Meprolight features a reticle with a twist: never needs a battery. The red triangle reticle is illuminated during the day by fiber optic technology and at night by Swiss-made tritium vials with the transition occurring automatically based on ambient light. The waterproof Mepro22 features a quick release Picatinny rail mount. Impact point corrects at 1 MOA per click with a total windage and elevation range of 60 MOA. The sight is compatible with night vision devices and magnifiers.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Regarding previous question between vivitar 500mm and this one, how much is the difference on optical quality, when saying this one is better? And how much distance difference does the 100mm make?
A: This lens is multi-coated against lens flare and reflections, which makes it better than the Vivitar 500mm T-Mount lens. Having the added range on the Vivitar lens may not seem like much, but it could help when you need to get a bit closer to the subject.
Q: 2. Is this apse or full frame? Listing says both.
A: Hi, this is a Full Frame lens.
Q: 3. Could you use this for photographing the moon, or non-moving wildlife?
A: Yes, you will have to bump up your iso to compensate for the small aperture of f/8.
Q: 4. Is it possible using it in Sony A1 camera and a Canon B4 lens ?
A: Yes it will.
Q: 5. Is the back focal length of the t-mount version 55mm? And what's the thread size?
A: The Tokina SZ SUPER TELE 500mm F/8 Reflex Lens (T-Mount) is a 500mm lens (focal length). The lens has a front filter thread of 72mm and a back filter thread of 30.5mm.
Q: 6. Is the "donut-shaped bokeh" what we otherwise know as "circles of confusion"?
A: No. The sharpest point of focus on a camera's sensor would be a single point on the camera's sensor. "Circles of confusion" describes the small area of what our eyes would perceive to still be in "acceptable focus," but which do not fall as single points of focus on the sensor. They are circles slightly larger than a single dot (point), but which are small enough to still be perceived as in focus. Bokeh describes the quality of the out-of-focus area in an image, so "donut-shaped bokeh" are not perceived as being in focus and is not considered circles of confusion. --- The distinctive shape of the bokeh from mirror lenses comes from the design of the lens and the placement of the reflecting mirror in the center of the image. Light enters the optical tube, passes a small mirror, and strikes a concave mirror at the rear of the tube. The light is focused back toward the small mirror and reflected back through a hole in the concave mirror where the camera or eyepiece is mounted. The result is bokeh with a bright edge and a relatively dark center (similar to a donut).
Q: 7. So what is the MM equivalent for a Fujifilm XH-1 or XPro-3?
A: The Fuji cameras have a 1.5 crop factor, so this lens will have an angle of view similar to a 600mm lens. It will still be a 400mm magnification.
Q: 8. Does this lens come with a protector filter as showed in the photo of it on this page?
A: The Tokina SZX 400mm f/8 Reflex MF Lens does not come with a filter but it can use any 67mm filter such as this Hoya: https://bhpho.to/3xlGMt1
Q: 9. Has anyone used this lens on a 90D or another camera that doesn't have focus peaking or vibration control? If so, were you able to get reasonably sharp photos without camera shake being an issue?
A: It's definitely going to be a bit more difficult focusing with a 90D or DSLR that doesn't have stabilization or focus peaking. I would recommend using a tripod and a shutter remote to maximize stability. Even with focus peaking and stabilization, the lens still requires critical focusing.
Q: 10. I already have T adapters for several cameras (e.g., Canon 5DIV and RF). Will this lens work with those adapters or only with Tokina's adapter?
A: This would be compatible with the T adapters that you already have.
