The ILS4 Ultra-Short-Throw Fixed Lens from Christie can produce a large image from a very close distance. Designed for Christie's high-brightness, large-venue, 4K projectors, this lens with an ultra-short 0.38:1 throw ratio can create an image, for example, 20' wide from a distance of just 6'4" from lens to screen. Installing in the projector is easy as each ILS4 (Intelligent Lens System) lens automatically recognizes and calibrates the lens when it is installed.

Also, getting this size would be best in case you use a different studio space with higher ceilings in the future.m

Q: 7. Hello! Will this short central column work with Gitzo Series 1 or Series 2 tripods? Do you sell any short columns that would be compatible?

A: Manfrotto Short Center Column for Befree and Befree Advanced Tripods BH #MABFRSCC wouldn't work with the Gitzo Series 1 or Series 2 tripods. We don't sell any short column that would be compatible.

Q: 8. How does the Manfrotto Autopole 2 compare to the Impact Varipole?

A: They are both great products, can't say one is better than the other performance wise. The Impact is a much better value.

Q: 9. The profile looks to be the same as that of the 055 series tripods. Is this compatible with them?

A: The Manfrotto Short Center Column for Befree and Befree Advanced Tripods, is not technically compatible with the Manfrotto 055 series tripods. Because there are very few choices for short center columns, people do try to use this center column for various tripods, and sometimes they fit loosely, and can be tightened in place.
