The Christie 410mm Lens Hood is an accessory attachment needed for select Christie lenses when attached to a particular projector. It is required when using the Griffyn 4K50 projector with the 4.98-7.69:1 lens and when using the M 4K15 and M 4K25 projectors with the 6.9-10.4:1 lens.

A: The lens cap its self does not accept filters, the filter must be installed on the lens.

Q: 4. guys, the filter for this lens shall be 67mm diameter, does it mean that a lens hood shall be 67mm diameter, or a few mm wider?

A: Generally, the lens hood would be a bit wider than the filter thread size of a lens. With regards to the ALC-SH150, it would fit on the outer bayonet mount around the front element.

Q: 5. Will this fit the 16-55 kit lens that comes with the Sony a6500?

A: In case someone misreads this, just want to point out it does NOT fit the SELP1650 kit lens that came with the a6000...

Q: 6. Can this lens hood be used at the same time the camera has a lens filter attached or do I have to remove the filter and adaptor ring?

A: Unfortunately, the filter adapter and this hood cannot be put on at the same time.

A: Yes, the Front Cap is included with the purchase of the Sony ALC-SH135 Lens Hood.

Q: 8. Will this work on the G Lens 50mm F2.5?

A: its not a copy, I bought this thinking I needed it for the lens because it doesn't say it was included, well now I have 2 of them! well worth it
