You can charge more than your smartphone with the Juice Pack Connect. Incredibly versatile, the Juice Pack Connect features a USB-C port that can output up to 12W of power to other devices, such as a tablet or another smartphone.

When it's time to recharge the Juice Pack Connect, you can do so wirelessly on an optional charging pad, or via the USB-C port and included cable. Up to 5W of power is possible via wireless charging, with up to 12W available via a wired connection.

Included with the Juice Pack Connect is mophie's Connect Stand. This stand attaches to the back of your phone, allowing you to prop it up in portrait or landscape orientation. Use it to watch streaming videos, have a video chat, monitor notifications, and more.

Therefore you can use them for as long as they work well enough for you. Generally, you should get 2-3 years of service out of them. Once they no longer can hold a worth-while charge, then please safely recycle them.
