A: It should fit, in general, but of course not every L-bracket can be guaranteed because it depends upon how they design and build it.

A: Yes, they work fine in mine. The battery info only displays the charge level graphically, not as a percentage, and neither the number of shots nor the battery age are displayed. Using 8 (required AAs) adds quite a bit of weight to the camera and I believe you are better off just carrying around a couple of spare EN EL-15s to use instead, but each to his own. Bottom line: they work fine.

A: The watson brand is 100 % safe and will not void any manufacture warranty.

A: Yes, I also waited two months or so and then sent the battery back, as well as canceled my back order for the charger. That was several months ago.

A: Nikon lists the EN-EL18D only compatible with the Z9, so we cannot confirm if it would work on MB-18. I would recommend using a EN-EL18a/b/c on the MB-18.

A: There are separate holders. I personally havent used the AA one yet but it comes with two separate trays.

A: On the back of the MB-D18 there is an AF-ON button which can be used to provide the back button focus.

Q: 10. Does this require a cable or cord to be plugged into the camera like some of the Vello models?

A: No wires needed, remove dust cover(covers electrical connection for extra battery pack) from bottom of camera, plug battery pack into camera's electrical connection and tighten threaded screw with thumb turn on battery pack into the camera's tripod mount. Install battery, that's it. If you have a battery in the body and the extra battery pack, I don't know that it does anything except add more weight to an already heavy camera. I use the extra battery pack for vertical shooting and love it. Don't worry about loosing the tripod mount as there is another on the battery pack.
