Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. In the manual provided with the binocular a lever has been shown for zooming in and zooming out whereas the same is not there in the actual binocular. Pl. clarify?

A: The manual refers to both the 100x zoom and the 25x. The 100x is very much similar to this one except an extra zoom feature for adjusting to 100x. As far as I know, the 25x only has the knob between both barrels for adjusting the 25x zoom, and the focus wheel on the right eye piece. Those are the only two adjustable items on the 25x for sure.

Q: 2. Pleas does this work with Kowa Anamorphic 16-H??

A: It does not. This only works with SLR Magic Anamorphot adapters.

Q: 3. I am interested in daytime viewing of the cityscape from my terrace and landscapes in the country. Night viewing is secondary. Are these binoculars appropriate?

A: These would work great, yes. However keep in mind they might be too heavy to hold steady, so you might need to mount them on a Tripod at some point. For your use these would be suitable.

Q: 4. What is the manufacturer warranty on this item? Do offer additional coverage?

A: Please delete, the question is a double copy

Q: 5. Where are they made?

A: China

Q: 6. Can yhese be mou ted on a Celestron nexstar SE tripod?

A: The Celestron 25x70 SkyMaster Binoculars can be mounted on the Nexstar SE mount using this universal mounting plate: https://bhpho.to/4c99p1A plus this screw: https://bhpho.to/4c7F0R7.

Q: 7. Has anyone had the problem with the Celeston 15x70 Skymaster not being collomated? I saw the procedure on youtube and it does not look easy to do. I really don't want to go through this hassle.

A: Yes, I have this issue. I tired adjusting per the video with unsatisfactory results; I still have a second ghost image. I've used these to observe a model airplane stuck in a tree only. These are not for serious viewing.

Q: 8. Does the objective accept a threaded filter (clear/polarized) for protection?

A: The Fujinon 14x40 TSX1440 Techno-Stabi Image-Stabilized Binoculars BH #FUTSX1440TSB • MFR #16668012 does no accept standard filter threads.

Q: 9. The thread specification of the objective lens is unique M48 P0.5, is it not applicable to other filters of the same caliber?

A: 48mm front lens threads allow the use of filters, such as polarizing or ND, to improve the views in snowy conditions or when using on or near water on bright and sunny days

Q: 10. i want binoculars to see the evening sky. what do the numbers 25x70, 20x80, 25x100, etc, describe? thanks

A: The first number is the magnification factor. The higher the number, the lower the field of view. The lower the number, the wider the field of view. The second number is the diameter of the lens. The bigger the number, the more light is let in. The minimum recommended size for night sky watching is 10x50. If the target object is faint, then 15x70 or higher binoculars are nice to have.
