According to page 189 of the original instruction manual for the 8.1 megapixel Ricoh GR Digital, Ricoh recommended the Sigma EF-500 DG SUPER SA-STTL Speedlite Flash or the Sigma EF-500 DG ST SA-STTL Speedlite Flash for use with the GR DIgital, both which used the Sigma TTL hot shoe design for TTL automatic flash usage (both of these flashes have since been discontinued and are no longer available for purchase). As the camera uses the Sigma TTL system, the only two flashes we currently carry that may be compatible for full TTL automatic exposure would be the Sigma EF-140S Electronic Flash, B&H # SIEF140S, or the Sigma EF-630 Electronic Flash for Sigma Cameras, B&H # SIEF630.
