A: Tamron updated the firmware for the 150-600mm lens to resolve issues with the T6 cameras as well as the 5DS and 5DS R. Im not finding any information from Tamron stating that they have updated firmware to address issues when using the lens on adapters with the M3. Most auto lens adapters do not guarantee autofocus or compatibility with third party lenses, such as the Tamron 150-600mm lens, nor do third party lens manufacturers typically address issues with using their lenses on adapters.
