A: The padding in the Ruggard Commando Pro 45 DSLR Shoulder Bag is very good and more than adequate to protect any camera and lenses. It's not possible to compare with Lowepro without a specific model.

Q: 6. The mounting mechanism for my Elinchrom Indirect Litemotiv Octa Softbox (75 ) has stripped, both at the plastic handle for angling and the plastic knob used to tighten onto a light stand - what are my repair/replacement options?

A: The stand mount on these are terrible (sorry MAC Group but they are). The absolute best solution is to replace it with a hollywood grip head. it's an easy replacement (takes 2min) and will make sense if you have a grip head to look at. I'll write a product review and post a pic of the install there as everyone who owns one of these should do it.

Q: 7. Hi,I see the interior dimensions are 11.0 x 6.5 x 7.9 .Is the 7.9 the interior height, or distance from front to back? (Looks like height, but it's hard to tell for sure from the photo.)Thanks.

A: 7.9 is the height of the bag, and 6.5 is the depth of the bag.

Q: 8. is this bag tall enough for a 9 tall lens?

A: So it would not fit vertically, but horizontally. You might be able to squeeze it in, but there would be no body on top.

A: The quick release is not an Arca type and Arca type plates will not fit.
