This 25-pack of 8.5x11" Print Sleeves with Locking Side Flap from Lineco is designed to preserve and protect inkjet, laser, and other types of photographic documents from moisture and outside contaminants. These sleeves also protect prints from finger prints and scratches due to excessive handling.

A print can load into the print sleeve from the top or bottom and securely stays in place by locking the side flap over the sleeve. The sleeves are made from an acid- and PVC-free clear polypropylene which is archival and thus suitable for long-term storage.

A: Yes, as part of its start up procedure after you load with paper it will cycle and cut three sheets short sheets. Once the paper is loaded your good to go it will not cut anymore if you turn the printer off and then back on it is just when you load the paper. I have both the DS40 and the DS80 great printers!

A: I USE THIS PRINTED IN MY STUDIO AND FOR EVENT PRINTING. THE COLORS ARE VERY ACCURATE AND VIBRANT. THE PRINTER CAN PRINT AT 300 OR 600 DPI. YOU CAN PRINT IN GLOSS OR MATTED FINISH. A: The DNP DS-40 cannot print on transparency films. This printer prints on specially designed paper for dye-sublimation (heat transfer) printing. The process would melt the transparency media. If you wish to print on transparency films, then an inkjet printer, such as the Canon PIXMA MG6420 Wireless Color All-in-One Inkjet Photo Printer B&H# CAMG6420 would be a better option.

Q: 7. Does DS40 supports direct printing from iOS or Android device via WiFi or Bluetooth?I watched a video about DNP Mobile Party Print with DS40 but didn't find any specs about wifi or bluetooth modules installed into DS40 or DSRX1 but both support MPP. Am I wrong?

A: It does not support bluetooth or wireless printing. It has to be connected to a computer where you can send the files to wirelessly. Once the files are on the computer, you can print from the computer to the printer.

Q: 8. 1) Can you change from 4x6 media to 5x7 media mid roll? 2) If you change media mid roll do you change the ribbon too?

A: Yes you can change the media in mid roll. You will also need to change the ribbon that matches the paper size.

Q: 9. how can I get matte prints from the Ds40. do I get a media or the glossy papa can print both

A: The DS40 has two (2) paper coating options in the printing setting interface. They are glossy and matte. The printer will adjust the final coat accordingly. This is done using the same paper.

A: The paper doesn't come in glossy or matte.. In order to choose glossy or matte finish you have to do that from the printer settings. Hope this helps.
