This 4 x 6" Tiffen Combination 81EF/ND Filter blends both an amber light-balancing 81EF and a 0.3 neutral density filter. The ND filtration provides a 1-stop exposure reduction for darkening the entire image in order to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. The 81EF filtration covers the entire filter plane and lessens the color temperature by 650K, enabling the ability to attain 3200K balance when the prevailing light source is 3850K.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between two pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 6" / 101.6 x 152.4mm.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How dose this mount to the r5/46 tilta cage ?

A: It slides into the bottom, as shown in illustration image #6, and is then tightened in place.

Q: 2. How many stops for photo and video?

A: The In-Body Image Stabilizer (IBIS) on the Canon R6 Mark 2 corrects up to 7 stops of unwanted camera shake when shooting handheld, helping to shoot handheld in low-light conditions and reduce shake when recording videos. This 5-axis system can be also used in conjunction with lenses featuring optical image stabilization to compensate for up to 8 stops of camera shake depending on the specific lens in use. Additionally, Movie Digital IS uses the optical and sensor-shift stabilization methods along with digital IS to help acquire steadier footage while moving.

Q: 3. Does the R6 Mk ll perform well with a macro lens?I want to be able to print and frame large photos of butterflies, birds etc

A: Yes, the Canon EOS R6 Mark II Mirrorless Camera works well with macro lenses.

Q: 4. I've read nightmare reviews - R6II freezing up - have to remove/replace battery to fix - is this still happening?

A: Any issues with freezing/performance should have been mitigated by Canon with the latest firmware update. Another important thing to consider with the Canon EOS R6 Mark II Mirrorless Camera is to make sure you are using the proper SD card for the system. The camera requires SD/SDHC/SDXC (UHS-II). You can find the latest firmware update by following this link: https://bhpho.to/46Q8qzz

Q: 5. Can you use the EVF and the LCD simultaniously ?

A: You can only use the Canon EOS R6 Mark II Mirrorless Camera's EVF or the LCD, but not both at the same time.

Q: 6. Looking for a top loader/holster type bag with about 10" internal depth to fit a R6Mll with 24-104L and Peak Design Lite strap?

A: You can try the BEVISGEAR Top Shelf Digital SLR Camera Backpack (B&H # BETSCB001).

Q: 7. Will the IBIS work in conjunction with an EOS EF 600mm IS lens?

A: The IBIS does in fact work in conjunction with the 600mm IS lens.

Q: 8. When is this will be avabile?

A: Canon has not given us a delivery date. Also when they do ship we do not know how many they will send us. Pre-orders are filled in the order they came in. So placing a pre-order could be the fastest way to get the camera.

Q: 9. Can this be mounted on the tilta half cage for bmpcc4k?

A: no this will not mount on the half cage because there are no hole to secure the Anti twist pins on this unit to that particular cage

Q: 10. Is there any solution that would allow external recording on a SSD directly via cable without a external monitor?

A: It isn't possible to record video directly from the Canon EOS R6 Mark II Mirrorless Camera to an SSD via a cable.
