The Pelican 1450 Case with Foam (Desert Tan) is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical-resistant and corrosion-proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. A: The Exterior Dimensions are: 22 x 13.81 x 9.0 (55.88 x 35.07 x 22.86cm) (LxWxD), and the Interior Dimensions are: 19.75 x 11 x 7.6 (50.17 x 27.94 x 19.3cm) (LxWxD). A: The Pelican 1510 is a 22.0 x 13.8 x 9.0 / 55.9 x 35.1 x 22.9 cm waterproof case with a padded divided interior. The 1510SC is the same but comes with a security lock and a desiccant gel. The Pelican 1510NF is the same case but has no lock, no gel, no foam and is empty.

Q: 3. what is the difference between the 1510 and ba22?

A: I have the 1510 and it is wonderful. I got the Tekpak divider system which is the best I have ever seen. The BA22 is optimized as an airline carryon. The latches, for example, are recessed so they don't stick out and get in the way. It has a pressure equalization valve to keep the pressure inside the same as cabin pressure. Etc.

Q: 4. Can a shoulder strap be attached to the case? I don't see any eyelets or loops...A

A: This case would be extremely uncomfortable to have on your back. When loaded it's very heavy and there's no padding on the exterior. You should look at more of a backpack case if you want to have it on your shoulder.
