The Tiffen 2 x 3" Blue 5 Soft Edge Graduated Filter is a soft-edged graduated color filter providing a bluish color across the image, giving a cooling effect for your photographs. The graduated filter design keeps a portion of the image neutral, resulting in a more realistic look while allowing for the sky or other bright areas to take on the color of the density. The 5 density provides less of a blue cast than the 4 density filter.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 2 x 3" / 50.8 x 76.2mm and features a horizontal orientation; meaning the filter's line of transition runs parallel to the long side of the filter.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it compatible with Canon 7d MarK

A: Yes

Q: 2. I have read several reviews and am a bit confused. Will the lens work with either a D800 or D810 and a teleconverter and still be capable of auto focus?

A: You will find the performance to be a bit better on the Nikon D 810, however if you plan to use the lens-teleconverter combo to track moving subjects, then your results will drop dramatically. You would be much better off to use the DX mode on the D 800 or D 810 to take advantage of the crop factor since this gets you the effect of the teleconverter without lowering the amount of light hitting the sensor. The only drawback is now your skill needs to be higher in order to keep your subject in the center of the frame. This can be challenging when you have the whole frame to work with and becomes much more difficult in the crop mode. In short, there are tradeoffs with every choice you make so choose wisely....!

Q: 3. does it work with a Canon T5i?

A: Yes, this lens is compatible with the Canon Rebel T5i.

Q: 4. will this drive compatible with Mac? I have a mid 2012 macpro tower and most of other drives are NOT compatible.

A: MacSales.com sells this as compatible for Mac Pro 2006-2012 and PC Desktops.

Q: 5. Anyone know if this is region free? Thank you.

A: For the DVD section, all unmodified drives default to the region of the first DVD-VIDEO you play. Then you can change it four more times. After that, it is trapped in the last region selected.

Q: 6. can u use on eos70d

A: Yes, the lens is fully compatible with the 70D.

Q: 7. Are there still issues with this lens or had Tamron corrected those problems? I remember when it came out people complained about focusing issues.

A: From what I hear there is actually a new version of this lens. Having that said, I have the old version. Although it has its limitations, for example low light conditions are challenging, but not impossible if you adjust your settings for it, and extreme far away objects get rather soft. I've done some surprisingly nice images of wildlife at as little as 1/250 of a second. Not too shabby. My nikon 400mmlens hunts a lot more than this one. Although it hunts a little when I'm trying to get warblers. I think the only thing I would want to change on it is the location of the manual focus ring. (I like to manual focus)It's a pretty good lens overall and I'm very happy with mine.

Q: 8. will this record video shot in 30fps or 24fps and will it record these differing rates back to back?

A: The LG WH16NS40 16x Internal Super Multi Blue Blu-ray Disc Rewriter (OEM Version) will playback in 30fps or 24fps. This will is all depend on the original source that the video is coming from.

Q: 9. Is it compatible with Windows 8.1 in Spanish?

A: I know it's compatible with Linux kernel 3.10 so it must use a generic software interface. The LG support page lists no drivers so I assume none are required. I haven't used it with any languages other than English but I doubt that would be an issue.

Q: 10. What driver do I need for this?

A: Built-in Win7 drivers were sufficient.I believe I updated them from manufacture site after install.
