Finishing touch to my Domke F-2 shoulder bag. Cradles full-frame camera without lens quite well. Must turn camera on end (portrait) if have L bracket attached.

I try Domke f1x , f2 ,f4af fit Very good. But f6 didn’t fit ( little taller) . My Billingham one, National Geographic 2476 , beautifully fit, excellent handcrafted insert ,tight Velcro material ,I can Change inter shape resize for. Put in different lens, 70-200 f/2.8 , 24-70 ,14-24mm,300 mm f/4, 85 mm or 135 mm very easy to carry with my bags . Photographer must have this insert very useful. With this insert my photo style are better easy,and comfortable to carry equipment. Thank you B&H Photo .

I replace the original 4-compartment that was included with the F-2 with this, so I can load 2 cameras with 2 77mm lenses attached, and this 2-compartment is put in the center for 2 extra lenses.

Fits everything I need. I can get my 70-200/2.8, without the hood, and a flash with diffuser or a smaller lens, but it's a little tight for the latter. I have this and the FA-210 in my F-802 and they both fit with room to spare. Now if the inside of you bag doesn't have any padding on the bottom you my want to consider something else of just making a little pad to put on the bottom. Anyway this is a great inset and anything Domke will serve you well for years to come.

Paired with my beautiful new waxed cotton shoulder bag this insert makes the perfect shooter bag for me. I can carry three small manual Nikon lenses in the insert and then slip my D7000 with lens along side it. People complain about Domke stuff at times because it doesn't protect my gear. No, you are right. What it does is make it accessible in a smart fashion. Insurance protects your gear. I use my cameras, and like to be able to get them out quickly and this accomplishes that beautifully.

Improve padding of bag for protection.

I bought this insert to fully compartmentalize one of my Domke F-2 bags. It works like a charm. This insert is a change from the older styles in that the interior wall of the insert is (re)moveable. Therefore, there is really no reason to ever by the similarly-sized single compartment insert. I also use this as my only insert in my F-2 on occasions when I need to mount a larger lens on my DSLR or need to carry bulky items. Like all Domke products I've used, it is well-constructed and I anticipate that it will give me many years of service.

It isn't clear from the picture, but the inner dividers can be placed anywhere thanks to the hook and loop fasteners. This makes the insert very flexible. It retains the padding as well. The inner dividers are the same height as the rest of the insert, unlike the stitched versions where they're a little shorter.

This insert has worked perfectly for my Satchel & Page leather backpack. I really wanted to find some compact insert that could turn my general purpose bag into a camera bag, and buying two of these to stack horizontally has worked perfectly. These are 7x5.5x3 which is great for my Sony A7C, and I may buy a 3rd.


This would work if you need an insert that is as small as 3, and the only con is $25 is a bit for how small this is, but in some consumer goods small things cost more so meh.

Wanted to carry two smaller digital cameras in the F6 bag took the 4-compartment divider out and put in the 2-compartment divider and two bodies extra lens and flash. Item is like all Domke products quality and durable
