The Tiffen 4 x 6" 1 Tobacco Soft-Edge Graduated Filter helps to specifically add a warm, brownish-yellow coloration to skies and other bright areas of an image while allowing a portion of the image to remain neutrally colored. The filter's coloring is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged transition between the density and clear areas. The 1 color density provides less tobacco coloration than the 2 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 6" / 101.6 x 152.4mm.

Note: A vertical orientation filter's line of transition runs parallel to the short side of the filter.

Q: 9. Trying to decide which telephoto lens under $1500 to buy for my canon? I have a 24-105mm lens which is a pretty good all around lens but I want something with a little more reach to hopefully take on a safari one day and an Alaska trip. Ideally I would love a canon ef 100-400 but that's a little out of my price range. Is the Tamron 150-600 the way to go?

A: Rafael,Sorry about the late response.I use my Tamron 150-600 almost all the time. I usually set my mm at about 590 mm and get my best results at f7.1 with as much natural light as possible. When shooting eagles along a river I use a Tripod with a gimbal but also shoot a lot handheld while hiking with higher shutter speeds.Regards,Tom
