Featuring a natural base tint and a defined structure, this 25-sheet pack of 8.5 x 11" GALERIE Gold Raster Silk Paper from Ilford has a good contrast and tonal range for high quality imaging. The 290 gsm resin coated paper measures 10.5 mil thick and features an advanced layer coating that enables a wide color gamut as well as a raster surface for protection against scanning and duplication. The no glare silk surface offers a matte finish and the paper has a rated opacity of 98%.

A: Marcello, Yes, you can. Almost all papers can be used in all printers. What becomes specific and a help for accurate printing is that Epson, for example, provides profiles that match the paper to the printer. These profiles will probably not be appropriate for the Canon. However, they can be modified and you can create your own with screen and printer products like ColorMunki. I like the weight and stiffness of this paper. I've been able to get good results with both color and b/w prints. Its finish is more or less a luster with a very subtle texture. Printer profile from the Ilford website works well (using an epson p800). 5

I came to this paper on the demise of gold fiber silk, and was not disappointed. Great vibrancy with colors and it's outstanding with B&W. 5

Like others, I tried this as a replacement to the Gold Fiber Gloss and it has become my favorite paper for both B&W as well as color prints. The color and tonality are very pleasing. Nice thickness and it’s acid free which is great for archival purposes. Tried other papers and always come back to Ilford. 5

Been using this paper since they stopped making the Gold Fibre Silk. Ilford is the only brand I use for my printing purposes and it has been phenomenal for either color or B&W prints. Not the cheapest but my trusted go to paper. 5

Wouldn't be without a roll and some cut sheet in the studio. My go-to for B&W is actually NOT this paper but Ilford Gold Mono Silk (buy it). However, not only will this take a B&W print and make it pop, it adds some depth because of it's slight texture (the same texture that means it has a bit less glare than Mono Silk). This is not a heavy paper and almost a cross between a fine art photo paper and canvas--as odd as that might seem; it is the texture that gives you that sense as well as the thinner and more flexible nature of the paper. Again, in my world this is a must-have stock item. Great for portraits or Fine Art/Landscape. 5
