With an iridium surface finish, this 25-sheet pack of 8.5 x 11" GALERIE Metallic Gloss Paper from Ilford enables photographers to produce prints with a three-dimensional look and excellent color for good impact on the viewers. This resin coated paper also has a good basis weight of 260 gsm and measures 10.5 mil thick. Additionally, it has a rated opacity of 98%.

A: I have used the 13x19 of this paper with very good results with no icc. I could be wrong but I don't believe Epson has an icc for this paper for canon printers?

A: I've used it sucessfully in an pro 3880 if that helps

Q: 8. Can someone who has printed extensively on Gold Fibre Silk describe any differences between that and this new Gold Fibre Gloss paper other than the heavier weight? Is paper base around the same level of white? Is the surface any different looking/feeling?

A: Both papers are about the same level of white. The only difference is the thickness.

Q: 9. Does this paper incorporate optical brighteners?

A: Manufacturer doesn't specify. What it sounds like, although it's acid-free it does have some brighteners for color stability.

Q: 10. Is this the right paper for my Epson R2880 and XP 800

A: Yes it is compatible with your 2 Epson printers.

I haven't printed on glossy in ages. I've really been enjoying this paper. Has a nice sheen to it. Mostly been using this for snapshots. Makes lovely black and whites. And I've been happy with color rendering. ICC profile can be downloaded from Ilford website, and it seems to be pretty good. 5

I obtained superior results with this paper. My prints were exceptionally sharp and had brilliant color rendering. The other single review which is negative I have no explanation for. I used this paper with an Epson 3880 printer and the Ilford supplied custom color profile for my printer and paper. The profile was IGPMG_PGPPN.icc. Attached are two small photos of prints on this paper taken with a Sony RX100. Lighting was the LED floodlamps in my kitchen and the camera was set to auto. Only editing was for vertical perspective and cropping. 5

Best paper made for inkjet printing when you desire a smooth glossy finish. It produces outstanding image tones. Ilford has been in teh business for over half a century and they have always made superior quality photography materials. 5

I am 83 years old and have been using Ilford Prestige Smooth Gloss since I started into digital 20 years ago. The quality is the finest around. There is no such thing as bad paper or packaged poorly. The finished product produces the most beautiful photographs. Thank You Ilford, Jerry Moss 5

This paper was on back order for some time now, but B&H finally got it in. Used Epson ultra premium 5x7 for years, but finally went with Ilford after a friend's recommendation. The specs on this paper are slightly better then Epson, and I can see the difference with my prints. Also, this paper is of better value too. Try some and you won't be disappointed. 5
