Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will the Fujifilm MCEX-16 Macro Extension Tube work with XC lenses also?

A: Yes.

Q: 2. What is the effective aperture loss when using the tubes?

A: The Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG for Canon EOS Lenses does have light loss. it does depend on the lens. The formula for that is, Ef = Effective f-value (that is what you get after adding extension tubes or bellows) If = Indicated f-value (that is shown on your lens or display, the one that is set on the lens) F = Focal length of the lens Ex = Extension (total length of the extension tube or bellows) The formula is: Ef = If x (F + Ex)/F

Q: 3. are these compatible with the Nikon d7500?

A: Yes

Q: 4. Did this tube control aperture in the lens

A: With these tubes you will be able to control the aperture of the lenses on the control dials of your camera the way you normally do.

Q: 5. Will these extensions work with Nikon 105mm VR lens?Thank you

A: Yes, they are fully compatible.

Q: 6. Will these work with my Nikon D5200?It works with autofocus or just manual?

A: These extension tube are compatible with your D5200, and will support autofocus as long as the focus distance is within the cameras focusing range. It is not uncommon for extension tubes to decrease the minimum focusing distance of the lens to such a short distance that the camera's AF sensors are not able to work properly, and will cause the camera to hunt back and forth. In these situations manual focus is the solution.

Q: 7. Does this Extension Tube work for FE-mount (Full Frame) lens on Sony A7/R without the need for any cropping?

A: We have not had the ability to test this out yet, but there is a good chance that you will need to crop when using the Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG for Sony E-Mount Lenses with the full frame Sony A7 and A7R, as this extension tube set is designed for APS-C format E-mount cameras.

Q: 8. will this work with lenses without aperature rings, in other words can I still set aperature through the camera if the lens does not have a manual aperature ring?

A: The Nikon PK-13 will not be compatible with G type lenses that do not have aperture rings.

Q: 9. Will this work with d3400 ? Thanks

A: My set of Kenko extension tubes works very well with my Nikon D3400. Depending on which lens I use, I sometimes prefer auto focusing and sometime prefer manual focusing.Have fun discovering which technique works best for you !

Q: 10. Can you use this along with the MCEX-11 at the same time, to further increase macro abilities?

A: There is no technical specification out on these. Until Fuji releases the technical data on these and or when they are actually in stock there is no way of knowing for sure if they can be used attached to each and stacked.
