The Pelican 1640 Transport Case with Foam (Desert Tan) is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of Ultra-high Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 0.25" (6.4 mm) neoprene o-ring, ABS latches that seal perfectly and includes an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure.

The 1640 comes with a two side haul handles, an extension handle and strong polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings. It has an effortless release latch for the extension handle. The padlock protectors provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft.

This case has a 5-piece foam set interior.

A: The interior is 7.6 high. That will accommodate DLSR's sitting on their battery grips like the ones seen here.

Q: 4. Could this possibly fit 2 24" monitors?

A: The Tenba Transport Air Case for EIZO ColorEdge or FlexScan 24" Display, B&H # TEACRSE22, is designed to hold a single EIZO ColorEdge or FlexScan 24" display securely. We cannot recommend or guarantee that it will be able to securely hold two of them without any issues or without damaging them in transport.

Q: 5. Would this fit the 24 NEC equivalent, the NEC PA242W?

A: Yes, this can also accommodate the NEC PA242W.

Q: 6. what is the difference between the 1510 and ba22?

A: I have the 1510 and it is wonderful. I got the Tekpak divider system which is the best I have ever seen. The BA22 is optimized as an airline carryon. The latches, for example, are recessed so they don't stick out and get in the way. It has a pressure equalization valve to keep the pressure inside the same as cabin pressure. Etc.

Q: 7. Will the LG MD4KL 24" fit in this case?

A: Yes, you would be able to fit a 24: LG monitor (MD4kL), in the Tenba Transport Air Case for EIZO Coloredge or Flexscan 24" Display.

Q: 8. Will this case fit a DJI Phantom 2?

A: It may fit the DJI Phantom 2. What you should know and I sent a letter to Pelican about the case, is in some of the smaller planes, the case will not fit in the over head on board luggage rack. You'll have to use VIP express check it at the gate.

Q: 9. Does this system provide as much impact protection as the foam-and-velcro dividers?

A: I would say it is probably more protective. It allows a more rigid, customized fit. If you are careful, your stuff will not move around at all.

Q: 10. Will this fit Eizo CG2420?

A: Yes, it will fit every current EIZO 24-inch display.
