The Heliopan 28mm KR 1.5 Skylight (1A) Filter is a general use filter with a slight pink tint to help improve overall color accuracy and clarity. The light pink coloration helps to reduce the overall bluish cast of daylight and is especially effective when photographing landscapes and in shade. A: Nope. I use a standard thickness polarizer and have not had any issues with vignetting.

A: I own both and comparing (on an a7RII) same size images @f2.8 at 50% enlargements on screen the differences in sharpness really don't differ much for general use. Distortion and CA are different however. I have also found a lot of variation in the Sony lenses I have had, even with GM lenses so test yours while you can still exchange it at B

A: Hi--it's difficult to compare two lenses with different focal lengths, but these two are somewhat similar in optical quality, with the 28mm lens being somewhat better optically, as well as having a wider maximum aperture of f/2 vs f/2.8 for the 35mm lens.

A: I use a 49mm UV filter on my lens. Im sure the ND filter would be the same size.

A: Just to correct: better check what camera you have. The Nex 3 3c etc. are APS C cameras, not four thirds; there was a 5n which is a 16megapixel aps c camera. The lens will fit all of these cameras, but the APS C camera sensors are only half the size of the image the lens is designed to produce so a lot of the image is wasted. The Sony Zeiss 24mm f1.8 is a wonderful little lens, designed for the APS- Emounts. I have it and love it. But remember as you figure the field of view, that an APS C camera gets coverage out of a lens comparable to a full frame camera with a focal length of 1.5 more. i.e. a 24 mm aps c lens has the same field of view as a 36 mm full frame.

Q: 7. On a Sony a6000 series camera how does the image quality of this lens compare to that of the Sony Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 lens?

A: Both lenses will give you excellent image quality. It really depends if you could use the half stop more of light the 1.8 gives you over 2.0 and if you prefer a little bit of a wider shot. If you said yes to both of these, then the Zeiss will be your better option.

A: This lens would work for video, yes.

A: This is my default walking-around lens for my A7sii. I wish it was a little more compact, but it shoots really nice images, especially when I use the lens compensation in Lightroom. I wish it had manual aperture on the lease and a AF/MF switch, but no complaints otherwise.Hard to go wrong for the price.

A: Nope, it's a prime lense. However, mounted on the Sony A7S II you can zoom electronically or use the Clear Image Zoom feature if shooting movies.
