The Tiffen 2 x 3" 1 Tangerine Soft-Edge Graduated Filter helps to specifically add a warm, pale orange coloration to skies and other bright areas of an image while allowing a portion of the image to remain neutrally colored. The filter's coloring is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged transition between the density and clear areas. The 1 color density provides less tangerine coloration than the 2 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 2 x 3" / 50.8 x 76.2mm.

Note: A horizontal orientation filter's line of transition runs parallel to the long side of the filter.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this lens compatible with D5200?

A: The Tamron 150-600mm lens for Nikon is compatible with the D5200, yes.

Q: 2. Will this lenswork with a canon 5D mark II?

A: If you order the lens with the EF Canon mount then yes. This lens comes manufactured with different mounts. I have used it with both my 5D and 7D.

Q: 3. Can it be used with canon 2XIII extender

A: No, I found the Sigma 2x teleconverter worked.

Q: 4. This lens is good for wildlife photography ? with Nikon 7500

A: Yes, this lens would be suitable for wildlife photography.

Q: 5. I'm looking for a camera bag for my Nikon d5300 with the tamron 150-600mm is there anything for around 50$?

A: Unfortunately, we do not have a camera case around $50.00 that would support both the Tamron 150-600mm lens and the Nikon D5300 DSLR camera at the same time. The Tamron Lens Case for SP 150-600mm Lenses, B&H # TAA011LC, is a new item that is coming soon, but is the only case under $50.00 that would hold the Tamron 150-600mm lens.

Q: 6. Does the lens have international warranty? or the 6 year warranty is applicable only in the country one buys? For instance, am planning to buy in the US and use it mostly in India

A: Tamron's included 6 year warranty is valid in the USA.

Q: 7. I know this lens does not come with a case like the old 200-500mm Tamron. What LowePro lens case do you recommend?

A: The Lowepro 11x26cm Lens Case will be an excellent fit for the Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3: http://bhpho.to/Pwr3Sb

Q: 8. How about the quality of lense as compared to g2

A: The quality of the glass in the SP 150-60mm Di VC USD is phenomenal. Mine is tack sharp to the point that I am hand holding it while shooting birds in the Spring. The only differences that I see are that they've improved the auto focus a little and weather sealed the unit better. I've gotten my lens a little wet, (not drenched), and it fared just fine. I've found zero issues with the auto focus. I'd probably save the money and get the cheaper lens as I don't see enough to make me spend the extra $$ to get the generation 2 lens.

Q: 9. I have an older Canon Rebel XSi and would really like a lens with more reach. I'm a just an amateur so am wondering if this will work on my old camera. I'm just wanting something for birds and wildlife that gives nice clear shots. Is it too much lens for a newbie to use?

A: I'm sure it will work with your camera. It is a very easy lens to use and produces some great results. Go for it. It is a real value.

Q: 10. Will this work with a Nikon D5500?

A: I use this on my D7100, but the 5500 has the same mount and I believe the same sensor, so there is no reason it wouldn't work just fine. Best tele lens on the market at this price point!!
