It seems to be very hard to find a double ended carabiner thats secure but small to attach to a ring on a bag and the camera (where straps attach)?

I have asked B&H staff to remove my 1 star review but they have not done so yet. Why have I done that? While the problems I experienced are real, Peak Design is being very cooperative in trying to resolve the issues and believes I may have a defective unit. In today's world, having a company that stands by its products and tries to address concerns is such a rarity that I'll take them at their word and hope that everything works out for the best.

Very well engineered and works as reliably and easily as described. Comfortably holds a bridge camera on my belt (sony rx10 iv) so would be fine with a mirrorless. Secures very solidly, and of high quality one would expect from Peak Design. I definitely trust this, and it is great to free my hands when not shooting, or to simplify carrying a second camera..

I just finished a hiking trip to Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and Zion. I checked out this clip online before my trip and wondered if it would work out. I had it on my left strap of my Osprey pack just below my collarbone and it was awesome! Easy to release and put back in the clip. Also hiked the narrows of Zion in the river and got great shots. I use a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. Happy with my purchase and will be using it on my future travels

I've used a CapturePro (v2, I think) since 2015. It was always on the strap of whichever backpack I was using and probably has several thousand insertion cycles. Most of the time it has been carrying a D610 w/24-120 f4. It still works great, but I was tempted by the new version. So far, it seems the camera slides in somewhat more easily with the new design and it definitely feels better on my shoulder - I used the Pro-pad under the backpack strap with the wide v2, with this one I've been using just it, no pad. I also like the switch to allen bolts, much nicer for clamping it to a strap than the old thumbscrews.

I used to have a set of harness straps but the lock was broken, so I was thinking to buy another camera straps for the event shooting. When I was browsing the site, I felt this peak design locking system seemed to be good use, and I decided to give a try. It’s good. Easy to use, no more strap all over the body. Secure and compact. Highly recommend it.

Love this clip. I have it permanently on my backpack now. I’m planning to buy an adapter for my gopro and possibly even get a second clip as well.
It works great if you are riding a bicycle and want your camera in a steady position rather than bouncing around.
