A: This is a customers image, we assume he used a Profoto light with the Profoto Ocf beauty dish.

A: Speed ring is sold separately. It is the same speed ring used for all Profoto light modifiers.

A: Hey Brandon, I wish I could answer your question, I have never used the beauty dish with out the diffusion panel, sorry I cant help you out.

Q: 6. Will this only be for mounting to Profoto lights, or will other speed rings be available soon?(Buff specifically)

A: The OCF Speedring is about 2cm smaller in diameter than the Profoto RFi ring and other common speedrings. So as Chris said, this won't fit on other speedrings (same goes for the other OCF softboxes). The reverse holds as well - you can't fit Profoto or other brand 'normal' softboxes to the OCF speedring - in the case of Profoto and Chimera at least, the rods are too thick to fit into the sockets of the OCF ring as well as the diameter of the ring being different.However, if you want an alternative that fits on a standard speedring then the Chimera Octa Beauty Dishes are similar and work fine. My 30 fits on a Profoto RFi speedring no problem at all.
