Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the expiry of this film?Thank you.

A: The expiration date of the RVP 135-36 Fujichrome Velvia 50 Professional Color Slide Film (ISO-50) is at least 6 months away. While we cannot give the exact expiration date of the film, any film on our site that was within 6 months of its expiration date would be sold as short dated and specifically listed as such on our site.

Q: 2. I just received my 5 pack and it is outdated. Nowhere on this listing is the fact that the film is not fresh, did I miss something? Is Velvia still in production?

A: Fuji Velvia is still in production , ad there is a expiration year and month stamped on the box

Q: 3. What is the length when folded?

A: The Angler Quick-Open Deep Parabolic Softbox (48-) would be approximately 36 inches (0.91 meters) in length when folded.

Q: 4. I'm looking for an easy open softbox that is portable for the following kit. Will this work with the Impact Qualite kit (IMQL3560LEDQ ) that includes this Angler speed ring (AN7464SFS )? Or do you have another suggestion in the 24" to 32" easily transportable and easy to open softbox?

A: You could use the Westcott 43" Apollo Orb with Grid, BH # WEAO which opens like an umbrella and has an umbrella type rod to fit the umbrella slot of your Impact Qualite LED head. https://bhpho.to/3BzqShw

Q: 5. Is this film still in production?

A: Yes, I just got an order of Velvia 50 with a 2017 expiration and also Velvia 100 with a 2018 expiration.

Q: 6. How is this film stored? If it is frozen, then the expiration date doesn't matter as much.

A: My experience with slide film is that when frozen it retains very good reproductive quality. 5-6 years ago I purchased a large stock of Elite Chrome - EB-3 and EBX. I recently brought out some rolls of EBX - 2012 exp. - and the developed product looks gorgeous. I purchased some of these Velvia 50 and have stored them in the freezer and expect they will be fine when I get around to using them. I have some rolls of Velvia I have had for many years and every time I have used a roll the colors are fine. Also, I take the film out of the freezer shortly before I am going to use it. I warm it in my hand for 10 or so minutes and/or put it under my leg on the seat of the car for the drive to wherever I am going to shoot a roll. I have never had any issues. Think about it. If you are taking photos in the winter, the film in the camera is pretty close to what is the ambient temperature. Of course there is a limit, but the batteries in the camera usually fail prior to that point anyway. One final thing. Prior to sending for development, I keep the exposed rolls in the freezer too.

Q: 7. How can I add a deflector plate to this softbox?

A: The Angler Quick-Open Deep Parabolic Softbox V2 (36") does not work with a deflector plate like some beauty dishes.

Q: 8. Would this fit a Visatec 1600B monolight?

A: They would not be compatible.

Q: 9. Is this modifier heat resistant? Will it take an aputure 600d without melting/burning?

A: This unit is not heat resistant.

Q: 10. Hi! Is this compatible with a godox ad600 pro?

A: Yes. The following units features a Bowens mount system.

Great for storing valuable video and photo Only time will tell if long term strorage if possible. I would still re-record every say 5-7 years or so. All have worked perfectly so far. I do not use any marker, even safe markers I use markers on the case. You can not use archival gold delkin pen because the discs have a hard coat. Disacs have to be stored in an appropiate case, vertically, with air flowing (thence the need for the bump in some cases to prop it up), and safely fastened but not so hard that it splits the center of the DVD when putting in and out -it isnot bonded like in the cd's-. and at the right temperature and humidity.Burn at slowest speed for better long term writing

As a Wedding photographer I use this to download the cards as insurance against anything that could go wrong during the day. Stolen cards, lost cards, anything that will keep us up all night worrying about lost memories of a client. The cards download quickly and are easy to find when i want to upload to my hard drive at the studio. I have read past reviews and was a bit concerned about the ease and ability to use on the fly. No worries at all. Used it without reading the manuel. Files safe and sound.

These DVDs are suitable for archiving normal amounts of data with being quite sure you can read it again for many years. And normally you do not need to read that data for centuries - which would be able with M-discs. In Europe it is not that easy to get them still, so I ordered from New York.

i use these discs to backup my work. they are quick burning and reliable. they are more expensive than your average dvd-rs but i feel not losing my work is well worth the investment.

I have been using Verbatim DVD-R UltraLife Archival Grade Discs for quite a long time and I find them very reliable. Only time will tell the unique archival qualities claimed. I will write another report regarding the claimed archival qualities 75 years hence when I will be 150 years old.

I previously went through a couple of hundred Mitsui/Mam-A discs, which had a reasonable but still detectable failure rate; so far these have been flawless. Burn rate is relatively slow, which seems normal for archival DVDs. Packaging states they're un-compatible with 1X/2X speed drives.

Over years I used this DVD Ultra Life to store my medical echocardiography studies. But now there was (over months) in Germany no chance to get them. B+H was the solution for this problem. The delivery was fast and without problems. Thank You ! Next time again.

These are the only discs we use to give our clients copies of their digital negatives. They are extremely high quality discs, and very reliable. We've never had a problem using them. Our clients take comfort in the fact that we give them an archival grade disc for their digital images!
