Archival Methods 4-Ply Black 100% Cotton Museum Board contains 25 boards that measure 11 x 14" each. The board is a high-quality mat board used for many fine print and document projects. Whether for traditional print or digital technology, this board will provide a solid, acid-free backing that is perfect for display purposes. It can also be used for small mat cutting where, for example, a 2-ply board will provide a 1/32" separation between the work and the glazing.

Your best print deserves the best mount possible. Presentation is half the battle and Archival Methods gives you the way to show off your best work. This is quality board designed for archival display.

For window mats and mat backing, Archival Methods recommends a thickness of 4-Ply, which creates a 1/16" separation between artwork and glazing and provides a flat, supportive backing.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can i fit a nikon 70-300mm?

A: The NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G is 2.83 x 4.92 / 72 x 125 mm meaning it is only 4.92 / 125mm long. The Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 26cm is much longer 2x as much in fact. We would suggest the smaller Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 14cm as a much better fit for your lens.

Q: 2. Will this fit the Sony 70-200mm f4?

A: Yes, the Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 G OSS Lens would fit inside the Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 26cm (Black), B&H # LOLC1126.

Q: 3. purchased this 4 the sigma 16-28mm f/2.8 BH #SI162828DGLM ...but there's ~0.5-1" of extra space. Is there a way to add pading?

A: Adding padding to the Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 14cm (Black) is impossible. However, you can fold the Sensei Premium Microfiber Lens Cloth (11 x 15"), BH #SEPLC11X15, and place it at the bottom of the case. This will take up space.

Q: 4. Does it fit for Sony 70-200mm/f2.8 GM with its hood?

A: The lens bag actual dimensions are H:9.5 , W:4.5 and D:3.2 , a little bit smaller than the Lowepro quoted dimensions of 10.2 x 4.3 x 4.3 . My Nikon 70-300 mm with a Vello LHN-H36 hood in place fits easily. The quoted dimensions for the Sony 70x200 mm/2.8GM are 7.75 x 3.5 and it is thus my impression that the fit will probably be too tight.

Q: 5. Will this case fit the Tamron 15-30mm lens?

A: The Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Lens would be a snug fit inside the Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 14cm (Black), B&H # LOLC1114. If you want something with slightly more room, the Ruggard Lens Case 6 x 4.5" (Black), B&H # RULCY16X4, or the slightly larger Lowepro Long Zoom Lens Case 11x18cm (Black), B&H # LOLP36980, would work for your usage needs.

Q: 6. Will this fit the new Canon RF 85mm F1.2 L lens with the lens hood on?

A: The Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L lens with hood attached will not fit in the Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 14cm (Black); it would fit without the hood attached. The lens with hood attached would fit in the Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 26cm: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/752416-REG/Lowepro_LP36306_PAM_Lens_Case_11_x.html/specs

Q: 7. WILL THIS CASE FIT THE NEW CANON RF 24-70 f2.8 LENS. I AM LOOKING FOR A SNUG FIT WITHOUT STRAINING THE ZIPPER. IF IT WON'T FIT, CAN YOU SUGGEST AN ALTERNATIVE?

A: Yes, when reversing the hood, it should fit fine.

Q: 8. Would this fit the Nikon 80-200 MM (D) with sun shade reversed? Too big? If so, which one ? Want some play at the top. Not snug

A: Yes, the Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 26cm (Black) should more fine with the Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8 AF-D NIKKOR ED lens.

Q: 9. Will this case fit the Tamron 150-600mm lens?

A: I don't have that lens (yet but may next summer) but fortunately a member of another forum I belong to posted this in one of my threads. A thread about how bad the Bag Finder for pouches was at getting things right. It was way off & I contacted Lowepro about it & was told they'd make corrections. I just got a LowePro 13 x 32cm for my Tamron 150-600 - it fits perfectly with the hood reversed & the tripod mount still in place.

Q: 10. Will this fit the Canon RF 800 f/11 lens?

A: No it will not. I'd recommend either of these: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1394383-REG/think_tank_photo_058_lens_changer_150_version.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/752417-REG/Lowepro_LP36307_PAM_Lens_Case_13_x.html?sts=pi&pim=Y

Since Plus-X was discontinued this has been my favourite film for black and white for 35mm and 120 format. So when I started into large format this was the logical choice to begin with, and it did not disappoint. Moderately fast, moderate contrast and fine grain.

I used to toggle back and forth between Kodak Tri-X and T-MAX, but then I started using Ilford HP5 Plus and seem to be settling on this as my go-to black and white film. I scan my negatives and do my post in Photoshop, so I do have a lot of latitude with dialing in my desired results. No complaints.

What can I say? Great tonality, predictable, forgiving, and reliable. It's my go-to for 4x5.

I use this film mostly in studio with strobe and develop myself using SPRINT Standard developer, very forgiving in highlights and lots of latitude in exposures. BEST of all B and H usually has this in stock and I can get it in less than a week to here in STL.
