The interior dimensions of the older EDC-235L was 31.8 x 13.4 x 31.1" the exterior dimensions were 31.8 x 14.6 x 34", and the unit weighed 76 lbs. Meanwhile, the interior dimensions of the new EDC-230L are 31.1 x 23.62 x 18.9", the exterior dimensions are 33.78 x 23.62 x 18.9", and the unit is lighter as it now weighs 60.6 lbs.

A: Not a problem. I live near Seattle, it is raining and my weather app says the humidity is 96%. When you open the door the humidity in the cabinet doesnt immediately jump from 31 to 96%.
