Built for durability, the port features a front element crafted from lightweight acrylic and a body made from Delrin acetyl resin, both of which are corrosion-resistant. The port's 6.0" dome magnifies images to a lesser degree than a flat port does, and corrects for the underwater size distortion that makes everything appear 25% larger and closer--thus helping to restore a wide angle of view. This broad coverage enables you to get close to your subject to increase clarity and detail, while still fitting everything in the frame.

Q: 3. Will it fit the ikelite flat port 5510.35?

Q: 4. Does this fit Summicron 35mm f/2 ASPH (#11673)?

A: It will work with that lens as long as you are also using the lens hood that comes with the lens.

A: This is the preferred dome for this lens. This Larger dome is best for split shots (half-in, half-out of the water). There is also a compact dome option which is better for traveling light. A: Yes. It will be paired with an extension to accommodate the 17-40. The extension will depend on which camera system you are using. At the bottom of each model's page you'll find a port chart. Or just let us know and we can advise the correct parts.

Q: 7. Will this fit the tamron 15-30 f2.8?

A: Yes you can use this port, but it is highly likely you will need a couple of extension rings as I did with my Canon 16-35 f2.8. I would email Ikelite and ask them.
