The Tiffen 49mm 82C Light Balancing Filter helps to increase the color temperature by 400K in order to cool the image slightly in order to match the color quality of illumination. When using an 82C filter, you will be able to attain 3200K balance when the prevailing light source is 2800K. The cooling effect of this filter requires a 0.6-stop increase in exposure for normal results.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting to precision metal rings.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the light be used as a continuous light for video?

A: This light has a modeling light that is a continuous light , however it's not powerful enough for actual video work.

Q: 2. The Godox AD100PRO looks great. My question is: Can I hard-wire it to my camera as a backup for times when wireless connection is compromised in the middle of a shoot?

A: The AD100 Pro can accept a 3.5mm sync cable as needed. One such cable is the Impact Sync Cord Male Mini (3.5mm) to Male PC (16'), BH # IMMMPCM16. http://bhpho.to/2XjJpvd

Q: 3. What is the Guide Number of this flash?

A: The Godox AD100pro Pocket Flash (Black) is not rated in Guide numbers but in watts. Most lights more than 65 watts is rated that way. Note, speedlights most are 65 watts or less.

Q: 4. Can you see the touchscreen on a bright day? Or will it be like an iPhone where you can't see anything.

A: If the sun hits it directly, it is hard to see.The workaround is to swivel the receptor head while taking a reading. It rotates 90clockwise and 180 counterclockwise.

Q: 5. does this meter trigger Yungnuo YN-E3-RT remotely?

A: No; the L-478D-U does not have any internal radio. There are other L-478 meters that do, but they are specifically for PocketWizard, Elinchrom or Phottix receivers.

Q: 6. Does the 2-Light Kit come with 2 modifier sets (i think it's the same as the AK-R1 set)? Only one is pictured in the 2 and 3-Light Kits.

A: It only comes with one

Q: 7. 1 set or 2set

A: This is for a single light. However we offer BH #GOQS400IIC which is a kit with 2 of these lights. https://bhpho.to/2Wu1xn5

Q: 8. trigger slave needed for this system?

A: It comes with Interfit S1 Manual Remote for all Cameras

Q: 9. What is the Guide Number for this flash? Or what is the f-stop at 10 feet at full power at ISO 100?

A: Unfortunately, there is no conversion to convert watt-seconds to guide numbers. A watt-second is a measurement of energy, measuring how much power (watts) is delivered in one second. A guide number is simply a tool to allow you to calculate the working exposure you may use from a flash with a set reflector degree/beam angle when the flash is on-axis with your subject. The issue is the guide number can vary widely from the same flash head if you use a different reflector size or if the flash has a zoom head. The exact same flash with a zoom head set to a telephoto zoom setting will have a much higher guide number than the exact same flash with the zoom head set to a wide angle setting. Hot shoe flashes have built-in reflectors and are designed to be used as-is (even though they can be modified). Studio strobes (such as the Interfit Badger Unleashed strobe head) are designed to be modified; they typically do not have built-in reflectors, and instead have a bare-bulb design. A reflector is not included with the purchase of the Interfit Badger Unleashed strobe head. The exposure measured at your 10-foot distance at ISO 100 would vary wildly depending if you used the light unmodified (in which case it would have a much wider 180-degree beam spread compared to a hot shoe flash), versus using a 7-inch reflector, versus using a magnum reflector, versus using a 22" beauty dish, versus using a softbox/umbrella, etc. As such, when comparing studio strobes, it is easier to compare the maximum power output from the unit with the output of other studio strobes rather than to give a guide number to calculate exposure which will vary depending on the modifier used on the strobe.

Q: 10. Regarding the Glass protectors. Are you meant to leave those on the units (under the metal protector) during transport?

A: The glass protectors can be left on the light during transport.
