$194.85 $253.31

The Tiffen 67mm Low Contrast 2 Filter can be applied to purposely reduce contrast while photographing an image or while recording video. By redistributing illumination from brighter to darker areas within a scene, this filter is useful in helping to balance the tonal range among highlights and shadows. Detail is increased within shadow regions while a halation effect around highlights is created which can further enhance a scene's appearance or produce a desired effect.

This filter has a grade of 2. Grades of 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 3, 4, and 5 are also available where this filter type's effect becomes approximately twice as strong with each grade number increase.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch.

Q: 1. Any luck with an A7ii/Metabones combination?

A: I tried this combination. It's finicky. My A7ii was crashing every 15min or so. Screen would go black and the shutter clicked a few times. Turning camera off/on didn't help. I had to remove battery and put back in. This happened 4 times in an hour. While it worked, the pics were beautiful - auto focus was accurate and using the EVF was so great. But the crashing made it too annoying to trust this setup. Native on my 70D it worked perfectly. So, based only on my test, A7ii/Metabones combination was not reliable enough to recommend with this lens.
