Q: 6. Do you know if this will work on Fujifilm 100s, since it uses the same connection?

A: It is possible it will work,he ALZO Flip Flash Bracket Shutter Release for Canon 2.5mm Sub-Mini Cameras on the FUJIFILM GFX 100S. The FUJIFILM GFX 100S does have a 2.5mm shutter port. But it has not been tested with that specific camera.

Q: 7. I am trying to decide btw Mixpre 3 and Mixpre 6, and leaning toward the MixPre 6 due to greater number of XLRs. But I notice one curious difference: the operating temperature max is listed at 140 degrees for the 3, but under 90 degrees for the 6. What accounts for this large difference? I'm not planning to work in the Sahara, but a standard summer day can easily reach 90 degrees so am concerned. Any advice on this? Have other customers run into heat problems with either the 3 or the 6?

A: We are correcting this error on our website. Thank you fo bringing this to our attention. Both items have the same environmental specifications: MixPre-6: Operating Temperature -4 to140°F / -20 to 60°C Storage Temperature -40 to 185°F / -40 to 85°C MixPre-3 II: Operating Temperature -4 to 140°F / -20 to 60°C Storage Temperature -40 to 185°F / -40 to 85°C For details related to construction and design: Sound Design: support@sounddevices.com +1 608.524.0625 main 800.505.0625 toll free

A: The MX-LMount battery sled must be purchased separately. The MX-4AA battery sled is included with the Sound Devices MixPre3 II.

Q: 10. How can I sync timecode from tentacle sync into mix pre ii ?

A: The MixPre II can either be a "master" and send/jam timecode to the Tentacle Sync ("slave"), or the Tentacle Sync can act as "master" and jam the MixPre II ("slave"). If you are using the MixPre II as a master, simply set the MixPre II TC Mode to Free Run. If you are using the Tentacle Sync as the master, please set the MixPre II TC Mode to AUX IN 1 or AUX IN 2. Please refer to the Tentacle Sync manual to determine how to set this device to send and/or receive timecode, depending on your preference of using it as a "master" or "slave."

Setup couldn't be any easier, and the sound is incredible. I use this as my home theater sound along with the Playbar. Way better than my previous system

I love my Sonos setup. I initially bought the playbar only. The playbar on its own for TV and music is crisp and clear but after reading about the Sub I decide that I had to have it despite its cost. I couldn't resist buying two play 3s at the same time to complete my surround sound system. I have a large room and the sound is quality. Interestingly, at times you wonder what the Sub is doing until you turn it off and you realise exactly what it is doing, adding unbelievably deep rich base. Historically I have bought seperate hi-fi components and as a bit of an audiophile had some reservations but the sound is phenomenal. Incredibly easy to setup plug in and add from the my phone, wife's phone and tablet. I have it linked via optical cable to my Tivo box I then bought an optical switch unit (not the cheap manual one, one I can control via remote(I recommend this route))and linked to my kids xbox the sound is out of this world on shoot em ups and FIFA. Incidentally the second day my wife moved the playbar and the plug fell out of the back which caused some issue where I couldn't get it restarted. I could not believe it and had no idea what was wrong. As I had just got it I just called Sonos and was connected to a Dutch guy on the Sonos support staff. He rebooted the system from his end all resolved within 10 mins, phew! Great service. I am genuinely extremely happy with the setup. I am currently trying to justify a Play5 for my bedroom. It will happen, only amatter of time.
