A: Tri-X is a pretty forgiving film that many people have used for ages. With minimal equipment and chemistry, a room that you can darken totally for 5-10 minutes while you load a light-tight developing tank, and a little practice, you can develop your own film at home, then scan the film and print your images digitally. Try it!

A: When you develop Tri-X at home the film base should be clear. If the base is pink/ purplish the film was not in the fixer long enough, or the fixer is weak. Kodak Photo-Flo 200 Solution (16 oz), B&H # KOPF200P will prevent the film from curling.
