The Canare Star Quad L-4E6S Microphone Cable 100' is the premier Star Quad cable for all handheld microphone applications. This cable uses trusted Canare technology to give you optimum sound quality. Flexible, satin smooth to the touch, and extrastrong, this standard diameter, 24 AWG cable fits perfectly in all XLR-type audio connectors. Forty separate strands in each conductor eliminate breakage due to flexing. A cross-section of the cable shows four conductors arranged as two pairs in an X configuration. The result is a microphone cable that resists induced noise in the most severe environments.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you replace the V-Mount to Gold mount? We are using Gold mount (AB) here in the Philippines

A: Yes you can replace it

Q: 2. How on earth is the PCIe card [designed for a tower?] work in a Laptop?? [since some one asked if it worked with their MacBook Pro and the answer was YES?!]

A: I run several cameras into the Decklink Quad with HDMI cords and then run the Decklink into my MacBook Pro through a Thunderbolt 2 port. I can run 4 external cameras into 1 TB2 port. Camera into Decklink Quad then from Decklink to MacBook Pro into a TB2 port. I also bought a protective box (Echo Express) that powers the capture card externally. Don't install the capture card in your laptop. It is for external use. CB

Q: 3. Any success using this inside of a T3 eGPU enclosure?

A: I have had perfect success with the Sonnet Technologies Echo Express SE IIIe 3 PCIe Slot, Thunderbolt 3 Expansion Chassis. Has worked perfectly!

Q: 4. will this card ork in a gigabyte motherboard with a PCI Express x16 slot, running at x4 (PCIEX4)?

A: yes this will Work on a PCIEX4

Q: 5. Can the screen markers be changed to a 1:1?

A: no it can not

Q: 6. Is the screen matte or glossy?

A: It is glossy.

Q: 7. I realize this might not perform as well as it would with the 3.0 interface, but Will this functionally operate (backward compatible) with a PCI Express 2.0 interface ? And If I'm using just 2... maybe 3 HDMI ports, would I likely be able to use it without issues if I'm just doing 1080p ??

A: Using a PCIe Gen 2 slot might limit your performance and may or may not work when trying to input or output multiple signals simultaneously.

Q: 8. Does the monitor provide HDCP support for viewing right protected HD/QHD content, such as BluRay or cable/satellite boxes?

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not explicitly publish specifications regarding HDCP compliance.

Q: 9. Can the Carry-On case be removed and the monitor used with VESA mount?

A: I would have to say removing the monitor from the heavy-duty case, the battery holder and disconnecting all the wires would make it more trouble than it is worth.

Q: 10. Would this support live color grading of an HDR signal inside of Resolve Studio? Signal would be coming from various game consoles.

A: Sorry - should have elaborated. Potential setup: Standalone PS5 outputting HDR signal to HDMI splitter; splitter output #1 to HDR monitor #1 for untreated monitoring; splitter output #2 to PC and into Resolve for "live" color grading on HDR monitor #2. By "live" I mean without capturing video clips to THEN be graded. A slight lag/delay doesn't matter too much - I'd just like the game to remain playable and have the preview in Resolve update automatically, and support setting up grades without needing to capture clips.
