When shooting and using the zoom, you need to shoot at f/5.6 else when you zoom wide, the image will get brighter. In addition, you may want a faster lens when shooting indoor sports.I moved quickly to the Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO Lens. It is fast, very sharp and with the conversion factor, it is a 80 to 300mm lens (perfect for sports). It also has a 1.4x teleconverter design just for it which turns your 300mm into a 420mm.
