The eBOX io from JL Cooper is a companion product to the eBOX general purpose interface box that converts the GPI (General Purpose Interface) inputs and outputs on the eBOX to completely isolated inputs and outputs. There are 8 optically isolated inputs and 8 relay isolated inputs on the unit.

All connections are made on the rear panel via high density screw terminals. Up to 3 eBOX io's can be cascaded to convert all 24 eBOX GPI inputs and outputs. Front panel LEDs indicate signal status for easy troubleshooting. The eBOX io is a half rack unit that can fit alongside an eBOX in a single rack space.

A: We are not sure it is compatible with the 4 M/E. We suggest checking with ion. A word of caution - it did not work out of the box. The ion actually completely locked up our 1 M/E Production 4K. Had to unplug the power to reset. This happened in the middle of live meetings. Ion offered a firmware workaround that I believe is temporary. It is working now.
