A: I am not sure.. but your best bet is to call the Camera people to know..compatibility...I used it on Blackmagic pocket camera..even then not all feature did work.. ex. the lens could not be retracted from the control panel...so you see... you need to check with the camera people or go to a user site for that camera.

A: I'm not familiar with the Lumix GF8, but if it has an interchangeable lens this should work. The Lumix lenses are standard across the brand.

A: Not without an adapter. That is a Nikon F mount so you would need the metabones F mount to E mount adapter. It's about $480 or so. It will only give you limited autofocus capability though to you will usually use it using the manual focus.

A: So far as I know the zoom is only activated by the lever/button on the lens. The lever is so convenient to use and so intuitive to find that this has to be better than using the touch screen.

A: Yes, you will be able to use the Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD MACRO Lens for Nikon with the D3500 too, as it is the same mount.
