A: I have a 270 exII speedlite. This softbox is not a good fit on that flash. The flash head is too small. The elastic band on the softbox has to be stretched so much that the sides of the softbox collapse inward and block the light.

A: No, the Kirk Tripod Head Quick Release Plate (Small) is not compatible with the Peak Design Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod.
